Why this site exists
If you search “EOR cost” today, every result on page one is published by a company that sells EOR services. Their calculators default to their own pricing. Their pricing pages omit the line items that make their headline fee favourable. Their cost guides soft-pedal the hidden fees. Their methodology pages, where they exist at all, are marketing copy.
That is a market with a missing reference. EORCost.com fills it: an independent reference for what an Employer of Record actually costs in 2026, including everything the headline fee leaves out.
What we do
- Track per-employee monthly EOR pricing from 12 providers with verifiable public prices, plus 5 quote-only providers cited with caveats.
- Map statutory employer burden across 15 countries, sourced from each country's revenue authority and cross-checked against OECD.
- List the eight hidden fees that show up alongside headline pricing on most EOR invoices.
- Provide a calculator that includes those hidden fees, with a toggle so you can see headline-only versus realistic-cost numbers.
- Re-verify quarterly and timestamp every page.
What we don't do
- We do not sell EOR services, payroll services, or HR software.
- We do not earn affiliate commission on any provider listed.
- We do not accept sponsored placements that influence pricing claims or methodology.
- We do not rank providers. Tier classification is by published price, not by quality.
- We do not give legal, tax, or HR advice. Use this as a sanity check, then get a written quote and your own legal review.
Who builds it
EORCost.com is built and maintained by Oliver Wakefield-Smith, founder of Digital Signet. Digital Signet publishes a portfolio of independent reference sites covering decision points in technology, infrastructure, and HR procurement — pages that exist to be useful first, monetisable second.
The portfolio is funded by display advertising. The advertiser exclusion list specifically forbids EOR provider ads on this property, which keeps the independence claim defensible.
Corrections, suggestions, complaints
If a price is wrong, a source is dead, a statutory rate has changed, or you spot something that looks like it favours one provider, email hello@digitalsignet.com with the source URL and the correction. We update within seven days. Reasonable provider rebuttals are read in full.
